Description

The Time for Relief Teaching series is designed to provide a busy relief/casual teacher with 30 suitable, completely integrated units of work, which can be used either for a day or a week.

Each unit ensures Literacy and Numeracy is treated through Reading texts covering a variety of curriculum strands using integrated comprehension skills, word building and spelling strategies. It also provides sentence structure activities and elements of Mathematics.

The activities for each curriculum strand can be used as a stand alone activity or may be used as an integrated package of learning for a day or a week.

All units have been developed following the principles of the Australian Curriculum in the areas of Literacy, Numeracy, some History and Science. A full set of answers is included for the busy teacher which could allow for self-correction by the student.
