“Beginning Blending” is the second in a series of blackline master phonic publications. It begins with a brief focus on building two-letter words with common initial sounds followed by an extensive section concentrating on blending three-letter consonant-vowel-consonant words that have common medial and final sounds.

Each section contains a variety activities to introduce and consolidate selected words. These range from word tracing, cloze exercises, wordsleuths, read and draw exercises, unjumbling activities, word matching and more.
